Connected or Disconnected?

Connected or disconnected? This is the question you must be able to answer. Do you know when you are connected and when you’re disconnected? If so, how do you know? It’s only when you are conscious and connected within yourself that you can connect with someone else, that you can access your juicy essence, be honest and real and act as two separate autonomous entities before you can bridge understanding.

You need and want to be able to talk about how connected or disconnected you’re feeling at any given point in time. And when you’re in a relationship, you best be at least somewhat prepared to talk about both, when you’re feeling connected and/or disconnected. As long as you’re able to have these conversations, it’s going to bode well for the relationship when you can hear and respond to each other heart to heart. When you’re disconnected from yourself, you’re not likely to connect with someone else. You won’t have access to your experience and therefore will be unable to be honest and real, get to know and understand each other on a deeper level, when you’re unconsciously driven and not be able to distinguish between your reactions and the other’s experience. How well you listen, self-disclose, and ask questions depends on how connected or disconnected. Yes. Rely on the connections you make and intimacy you create for sustenance!
